Roof Squared

YES! Back from Malacca :) Right now, sick, sick & SICK. Today, random shizz.

First of all, I met up with Sarah to work on our thesis at the faculty library as planned. However, from the beginning of last weekend's Malacca trip, I caught a cold & been dealing with the flu ever since. Recently it got worst. Can't even breathe through my nose. Been using up a WHOLE LOT of tissues. The running would not stop!! :'( My eyes are constantly watery. Basically, my face looks like I'm high on crack. I can voice-over Sean Penn as a surfer dude, "Like whoaa, like duuude", and it'd totally work. My voice can sell records, maann.

Anyway, in the library there's this special room that has a record of thesis papers by students of the faculty from previous years. The rule is that, we're not allowed to bring the materials out of the room, not even in the library itself. It has to be read solely in THAT room. While I was in there, my nose decided to go all hurricane katrina on me, & ran out of tissue. I got up to head to the restroom, without realizing this HUGE puddle of water in front of the exit door of the thesis room, I have no idea who the heck spilt it & AWESOMELY left it there. My first step forward turned into a high-speed slide & BAM! my butt hit the floor HARD.

For some reason, I'm always laughing at myself whenever I fall or slip, etc. Sara must've got the shock of her life, when she heard the HUGE impact of my butt to the floor. Like an earthquake. She was like, "OMG, Qila are you okay?!". All I could do was laugh & cry at the same time. I was just thankful that my pants weren't drenched, & no one saw the fall! I think there's a CCTV in the room, which is life rewarding, thanks a lot -__-

After campus, headed out with Tiqah & Farah to Amcorp Mall to check out something Mumzay told us about. We ended up having our own little vacation there & dined at Atap Atap, this Thai restaurant near Giant. It was my first time there, after hearing a lot about it from Farah who has practically made it her second home. WORD.

The restaurant definitely lives up to the talks about it being good & all. Tried the Beef Noodle Soup, which was dainty as heck. The picture says it all, it's what enticed me in the first place anyway ;)

Tiqah & Farah had the Sambals. Cuttle fish & Ikan Kembung respectively. Looked mouth-watering, but with my nose situation, that'll have to be in my next order during my next dine there :) The weird thing about their Cendol was that, the bowl was barely stirrable due to the towering snow & the brown sugar was at the bottom of everything else. Minus points for that.

How long is this flu going to be with me? Any suggestions on how to tell it to leave me alone without hurting its feelings? HELP :'(
Till then
