Final Destination Premiere

I had to skip my guitar class yesterday evening to avoid the daily after-work traffic. Coz you know how crazy that can be sometimes. Even so, the traffic was still pretty slow on the way there.

We reached One Utama just in time for buka puasa. Just as we entered Burger King, the sounds of azan was already playing on the speakers of the mall. Thank God it was a weekday, so there weren't that many people there, & getting seats wasn't a problem.

After dinner, we headed straight to the cineplex & queued up for the tickets.
This time we got mini-poster tickets! I was definitely happy about that, coz last time during the Orphan premiere we only got those Photostatted ones. SO this one's a plus :)

Ohh yes, & we got I Nuffnang badges & a FD postcard. How cute :) If I were to giveaway I Qillz t-shirts, would you wear it? Haha, totally kidding man. Random thought!

So, we got the tickets & there was still time to linger around before the movie. Reda forced me to play Foosball with him. He knew I wasn't good at it, so as expected the score was Reda 9-0 Qila. I tried my best okay!! Every time Reda scored, he'd jokingly mock me. It was torture. So thankful that no one stopped to watch us play. Coz usually when Reda plays or is challenged by someone, a LOT of people would gather around. Phewh!

The movie overall was just okay. I don't think I saw much of a difference in this Final Destination movie compared to the previous three. It's pretty much the same thing. Very sanguinary & bloodshed. Lots of intestines flying around, bone cracking & breaking, etc. A little comedy here & there. And as expected from all Final Destination movies, EVERYONE dies, no matter how well they re-think & re-calculate things.

If you've seen the other three, you would most probably be expecting something totally different, some kind of evolution to the movie. But in the end, you'd still end up coming out of the cinema saying, "Thought so".

I guess the only slight difference to it, one that you can see that the producers were making an effort to add some excitement, is the 3D effect. Even though the movie wasn't all that, the 3D kinda adds to the enthralment that would make you go "Whoaa". LOL. Yeah, so it was aiiight.

Would I recommend it? Hmmn. It actually depends on how much of a Final Destination fan you are. If you're the type who never misses any of the FD movies, it should be kinda exciting to compare. For the first-timers, if there's nothing else good to watch, it should be a nice last resort. Haha. I mean, it's not THAT bad, just predictable.

So if you don't have much time to go to the cinemas, no big deal.
I don't think you've got anything to lose watching it on the small screen :)
Thanks Reda for being my date! Muahhx.
Till then
