Rock The Posts Day 25 : Worth the Paid-for-Charcoal

So it turns out that, I DIDN'T have that much time on my hands. Coz right after I posted the previous post, it occurred to me that I've got priorities to obey. And assignments, studies in general definitely come before others including this. As much as I love THIS, I have to work beyond the edges to complete as much as I can to produce results with quality. And so, I stayed up the whole of last night working on it & finally slept after sahur, after Subuh.

Now now, don't let words fool you. I know I know, if this was someone else's blog & I read that first paragraph, I'd be like, "Rajin siooodd". Nope. I had a lot of breaks in between. And when I say 'a lot', I mean A LOT. Ahh well, I managed to accomplish 3/4 of it, and the rest is allowable for me to put aside for awhile to end this RTP battle of I started :) Booyah!

Alright, so moving on. Last Thursday I received an email congratulating me on winning 2 tickets to the premiere screening of Final Destination : Rest In Pieces on the 1st of September, next week :) We were told that the results will be informed on Friday, but I got it on Thursday evening. Ha!

Yeah, that I Don't Want To Rest In Pieces Like Final Destination post I posted with the ohh-so-lovely pics of my so-called horrified faces. Ngahah, was all worth it. And apparently worth the paid-for-charcoal. Also, thanks to my bro Reda, who'll be my date for the premiere coz he was the one who chose the photo location & snapped the pics for me. Thanks mengada!! :)

Just for the fun of it, I decided to show you guys the variety of faces I tested to get the right picture, hahahh. Most of them ended up looking like an outrage of sadness instead of horrified. The face in the bottom row, 2nd from right was intentional. Saw that most of my attempts at horrified expressions were leaning more to cries, I started doing cries for the last few snaps, just for kicks.

The make up idea was so random. One of my friends who didn't know anything about the contest, actually thought I was doing some kind of emo photo shoot. He even asked me what technique I used for the make up, or if it was photoshopped. LOL. I suck big time at photoshopping, so there's no way I could have photoshopped it. Effects I use are usually for real. Like the eyeliner & lipstick stain, haha. Maybe minor edits like, the contrast & brightness edited in Microsoft Picture Manager. That's all :) I'm pretty much old-school when it comes to editing. Even my videos are edited in Windows Movie Maker. No big shot film editors.

I'll be posting about the premiere fo sho!
Till then

P.S. Watch out for the tsunami of RTPs coming ahead!
