Went for my uncle's wedding last night. By the time we got back, I was so exhausted, I almost fell asleep in my baju kurung. Which explains the post delay, sorreyhh :)
Got there super early, coz mom had to help out. It was just Redza & myself. Farah was busy in the make up room, coz she was one of the flower girls. Whoots! Super early, as in an hour before it says "arrival of guests" in the agenda. So, me & Redza had the 'time of our lives', sitting there & watching humans going back & forth, preparing stuff. Abandoned by our very own momzayy, we just sat there. The whole scene & decoration was beautiful, though. Compliments to the wedding planner! :)
The theme was white & blue, light blue. Very chic! If you see the walk way right next to the table, they had a ghazal band playing on a small stage, with malay-ish instruments (lol, I have no clue what they're called). Live music, awesomeness.
Didn't get the chance to snap the bride & groom's thrones set, which were also brilliantly designed. White background with blue roses :) I guess you can say, that's the only thing I like about weddings, besides the food. Anything other than that, pfft. Didn't really snap much, due the fact that I only snap when I'm bored. So the exciting parts when my uncle arrived with the kompang & all, I didn't get to capture. Plus, there were too many photographers that night. I swear if I'd seen another SLR that night, it would've been a puke-fest.

They got the right & left neighbours to lend their porches for the rest of the guest tables.
My grand uncle seems to have LOADS of connections. Thus, the VIP guest that night was Pak Lah. I seriously thought they were joking about it. But he really came, with his wife. So all the makciks there were all at their best behaviour, all extra-friendly, seemed like a certain particular group of em were hoping to win the 'Jean Abdullah's BFF' title. Haha, I'm just writing what I've been observing, ya'll!

Ohh, and they put up white sakura flowers, with blue lights on em at the entrance. That, I LIKED. It was very prom-ish. Even though I've never been to a prom, LOL. Saw the bride for the first time that night, gorgeous. I was told that, she's a Muslim Cambodian-American. Looked very Malay though.
The children.
Redza & I had one of the front tables there at the beginning. But suddenly a group Datos & wig-wearing Datins crashed at our table, so with utmost respect, we left (-_-) AND joined the rock star crowd at the 'moshpitt' of the wedding. They had big screens for the outside people to watch whatever was happening inside the house. The ceremony took so friggin long, the guests were starving.
Poor Farah, the makeup artistes made her look so draggy, she didn't attend school the next day. Hahaha. Suke hati mak bapak diorg, they went & did her brows. She's only 16 years old for god's sake.
This post seems to have no flow. But it's all on the table, right. So, yeah :)
Till then ♥
