Okay so, you're searching for something, & with all the determination within, you search for it over & over again at a particular spot where you know (at the time) it's suppose to be. But when you take a step back to ask for help, you end up looking like the laziest of beings, coz the thing you're looking for is right next to the spot you were searching your heart out. Sound familiar? Or is it just me? :P
Mom dropped me off at Giant just now to buy salt for the house, to keep the demons & witches away. Lol. Naah, for food of course. I've been grocery shopping at Giant like a zillion times, but somehow when I go alone, it's like my brain's GPS system dies off or something. I knew the salt is usually somewhere near the sugar rack. So, 'sugar rack' was automatically where I aimed for. Searched like crazy at that same area. Even read the sugar packs over & over to make sure I wasn't losing my sight. There was a staff there arranging the food packs, so I walked around at the other sections juz so it'd look like I wasn't searching too long at the same place. Opportunity for acting skills to be applied, couldn't miss it! (-_-)
After multiple tours around Giant, I finally gave in, and resorted to asking the staff. "Excuse me, where can I find salt here?" . He only took like, 2 steps from where we were, and, "Here it is". Dang it. I stood in front of the salt rack, turned to the rack behind me & saw the friggin sugar packs I've been harassing for the past 10minutes. "Ohh haha, okay2 thanks!" Fake.
Speaking of salt, I almost added em in my chocolate pudding the other day. Was actually getting sugar, but went straight to the salt jar instead. Me & my salt-sugar confusion. Ugh.
ANyway, yesterday's evening class turned out to be a sleeping fest for me, thanks to the library lift for the free exercise. 10minutes in, I was still fine. Half an hour in, zzZzz. And when the class was over, I noticed I'd written my 'own' theories & notes. My writing was very PRETTY & READABLE :)
Till then ♥
