Why I Love Afi Even More

Yesterday night me & Afi stayed up talking & chillin.
Suddenly she asked me if I knew what the malay word 'gian' means.
I know, I've heard it before, but I never really knew the exact meaning.

Afi explained that it's a feeling you get when you're so used to doing something that when you're not doing it, you tend to think about it a lot till it sometimes affects your movements or ...( can't think of the right words to use, hehe)
She gave an example :

Lets say you really like playing basketball, and you play it almost everyday.
When you're not playing it, you feel weird, and you feel like u need to have a ball in your hand.
And sometimes you tend to move your hands as if you're bouncing the ball.

Something like that , I think.
Okay, so I understood what it meant.
I asked her why?

She just said :
Nothing, it's just that I'm so used to reading the Yassin every night in my hostel, when I'm not reading it, I keep feeling like wanting to hold it in my hands. And sometimes when I'm doing something else, I tend to read the parts I memorized in my mind.

Gosh.
Hearing her say that was like a MAJOR bang in the head for me.
I was like, "What in the world have I been doing all this while?"
It kinda made me feel bad for not doing that often.
I realised that I'd been thinking too much about the world happenings lately, and less on what's to come at the end of all this. Sigh.
I've gotta get back on track, and start concentrating on what I should be doing.

It doesn't require me leaving the rest of my work & stuff and not care about them.
Just set my priorities straight.
We should all do that.

LOVE Afi even more for that.
Thanks babe <3

Drama, Burgers & Excitement

Yeay, I just washed my aircond's net, and now it's cold again!
Hahaha. It turns out that it has been dripping for the past few days due to clogging on its net, or whatever you call that net thing inside it..
All my poor pictures on my wall got wet because of it ='(

Anyway, Farah got her new phone today! Finally! Wooppeee doo!
She'd been waiting for it for quite a while. Coz my mom was really busy with her work and all, with all the bills & stuff to pay. And she finally came to a freezone day as I'd like to call it.
Where she's free from the stress of having to pay for a lot of things. Hehehehe.
That's when she becomes really nice. Less PMS more lovey dovey =P
Me & Afi followed Farah & my mom to the Digital Mall to buy her phone.
Like a raya convoy, hahaha. Just to buy a phone.
What can I say, we were all bored of staying at home.
So we went for the 'buy-farah's-phone' trip. Hahahaha.

We saw Redza walking back from his CS game, he was wearing his Red Coke tee and Hawaiian boarder shorts like some beach bum in the middle of PJ.
My free-stylin', shufflin', b-boyin', fashionista brother.
Picked him up from the road side and he joined in the convoy.
Me& Afi had to wait in the car while my mom went in DM with Farah.
Slipped in one of our old Westlife CDs and played it on full blast.Hahaha.
Yes. Westlife. Used to be one of their biggest fans, went for their first concert in Malaysia, bought all the albums, except for one I think. Hahaha.
Not embarassed to admitt it at all. Coz some people actually ARE.
These days people are into all the so-called ROCK , metal, screamin music like MCR, Good Charlotte , slipknot and so on. They hear Westlife music and they go "Euw" as if they've never jumped up and down listening to that type of music when they were in primary school.
Hahaha. I'm right, aren't I? Well, at least that's what I get from observation.

ANYWAY, while waiting we witnessed a few parking dramas.
You know, the typical "I-can't-get-my-car-out-because-you're-blocking-my-way" drama.
It was like a honning orchestra. Pin pin pin pon pon pon.
Nice drama, coz the guy honning was a hotty. Hahahaha.
I've always got my eyes focused on the important stuff. Haha, important alright.
AND SOOO, Farah got herself a Sonny Ericsson Cybershot. I'm not sure which model, but it looks cool. Farah's happy, the family's happy, I'm HAPPY. Weeee!

On the way back, we stopped at McDonalds, and my mom treated us to some yummy cheese burgers. Ohh yeaahh. Remember the free-zone day I mentioned? Yeahh, that's what we get on free-zone days. Woopeee! Hahaha.
My friend Omar from Saudi msged me on skype.
He was in Citrus Hotel KL, when he messaged me, and he said that he's been here for the past 6 days and already leaving tomorrow morning. Damn.
He's been trying to contact me since he first got here, somehow he never got to reach me.
How saaaaad. I was really looking forward to have lunch and drive around KL with him.
Maybe next time, I hope.

I was browsing through YouTube, checking out dance videos.
Especially the Soulja Boy dance videos. A lot of people had posted videos of themselves doing the Soulja Boy dance. Hahahha. I love that dance!!!
Last week, me & Farah stayed up till 4am learning the dance from the instructional video we downloaded. Hahahaha. We were actually suppose to accompany Afi study for her finals, but we ended up dancing the Soulja Boy dance infront of her over and over again.
Poor Afi couldn't even concentrate coz she kept laughing at us.
We tried recording our dance, unfortunately there's something wrong with my webcam, it can't record videos like it used to.
Too bad I can't post the video here, and expose how retarded I look doing the dance. LOL!!

My best K ever Zetty just left for Dubai today =)
She won't be here till the 12th of December. That's quite a long time to wait.
Coincidentally, on the 12th I'll be heading to Cameron!
Mushroom goreng, here I come!!
Anyone want me to get them anything from there? Let me know!
I'd be happy to get you a lil sumthin sumthin.
I love going to Cameron eventhough a lot of people keep telling me there's nothing much to see there. I like visiting the little markets eventhough I've been there like a million times.
I like buying the fresh veggies they've got there which are waaaaay better than the ones here.
I like to 'borong' the strawberry lollipops, and give them out to my friends when I get back and suck on the rest till the last of my teeth drops out. =P
My siblings and I have a favourite spot there, which is the small Archery hut.
Ohh yess, archery is BIG time FUN!

I should get some pictures when I'm there so I could post it here for fun.
My blog doesn't have much pictures.
Alright now, I'm starting to get back aches for sitting infront of the laptop too long.
Till then. Ciao!

Satisfaction Obtained !

I'm baaacckk!!
From where? Malacca!!
Yup, I finally had the chance to go chill with Fadi there.Woohooo!!
Since my mom and the rest were going to my cousin's wedding in Johor last Friday, I decided to get a ride with them till Malacca. My mom dropped me off at the Ayer Keroh toll, which is on the way to Johor, and Fadi picked me up from there.

Stayed there the whole weekend till Sunday.
It was pretty fun.
After fetching me at the toll, Fadi and her housemate Shira brought me to Jusco to buy a cake and some drinks and snacks. It just so happened that one of their housemates, Kak Ida's birthday's on Sunday, and they decided to suprise her that Friday night.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAK IDA!!

I was more than happy to be apart of it, although I was still nervous about meeting the rest at the at the apartment. Hehehehe.
I get really nervous when it comes to stuff like this. Hahaha.
I bet Fadi got kinda pissed at me, coz I kept whining to her about how nervous I was about meeting her housemates, and spending the night there. Sorry Fadi! Hehe!

I don't think 'nervous' is the exact word for it, it's more like 'self-concious' I think.
Sometimes I tend to worry too much about the way I look or dress or speak, etc, and I sometimes, unconciously compare myself to every person I meet.
And that's when I start feeling really low bout myself.
Dumb right? Hehehehh, I think it's in everyone's nature to feel or think that way, even if they've thought of it ONLY once in their life.
Some may constantly think about it. I'm assuming that, that's what leads to self-insecurity.
I wouldn't say I'm an insecure person, but I'd be lying if I said I don't sometimes feel concious about certain things. I'd say I'm somewhere in the middle =)
I think I can control when to and when NOT to get myself into thinking that way.
At least I HOPE so. Hehehe. Well, what matters is I'm comfortable in my own skin.
The 'self-concious' part JUST happens occasionally =)

There are some people who're pretty good in handling these kinda stuff.
They have the ability completely control themselves from thinking low of themselves or comparing themselves to others. That's where the beauty of 'confidence' comes.
I envy these type of people. In a GOOD way of course. Hehehe.

Enough, enough with the Dr. Phil talk.
Anyway, I finally met Fadi's other housemates, Kak Ida and Wani.
Really nice & out-going people. I'm not sure what they thought of me(hahaha) coz I tend to be a lil quiet around new people. But I enjoyed their company though.
They're staying in this apartment called UV, which I've no idea what it stands for.
Majority of the residents are MMU students including Fadi & her housemates.
And mostly foreigners. Wooopeeee. Hahaha.
Foreigners include, Arabs, Mongolians, and I'm not sure what else, etc.
And yesshh it was a very very nice view. Hahaha.
God, I sound like some lame local excited about seeing foreigners.LOL.
It's not like it was my first time. But there's no harm in being excited about it right?
Still lame, but I'm fine with it. Hahaha.

Anyway, we had cake that night, yummeeyyhh!
Fadi showed me around the area as we walked to her regular mini marts, and mamak's.
Stayed up watching Gossip Girl together untill I realised I was actually watching it alone half way. Fadi fell asleep. Yeahh that happened several times. LOL.
Well, we did a lot of stuff together when I was in Malacca.
We hung out at malls, chilled by the apartment pool at night, chilled at their apartment balcony which was facing the pool (it was REALLY nice and breezy), we rented a car and drove around town ( which cost us quite a lot, but totally worth the pay).

I had tonnes of fun.
It was great to be with Fadi as I LOVE LOVE herr soo much!!
And it was a great pleasure to meet new people, new friends, Shira, Wunny, Kak Ida, Hyda and Ieqa and Sha. Yeahh, although I didn't talk much, I had fun.
LOL, it's always like that. I seem like I'm bored and all quiet, when the actual fact is I'm having FUN. Hehehehe. I know I'm just weeeiirrd.
I try to smile a lot to avoid people from thinking so. But then, they'd think I'm crazy. LOL.

Lets wrap this up.
I had an AWESOME weekend.
Whooossshhh!

Relieved

Ohh my God!
I am so relieved and grateful for the news I just heard today!
I tried calling up SKR in UM, it's the Admission, Records & Policy office, I'm not sure what it's called in malay. All I know is SKR, haha.
Anyway, I asked the lady about the CTES thing, and what I should do if I wasn't able to do it before the due date that was given on the website.
And she said...

Try checking the website on 3rd Dec, coz they'll be allowing
students to do the CTES for the last time in that one day.

When I heard those words coming out from her mouth, transmitted thru the phone and received by my ear, there was like a background music playing in my mind..
Suddenly a group of choir kids' voices, started singing, "Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh"
Like some kind of hallelujah song, hahahhaa.
I just hope she wasn't just saying it.
Yeay yeay yeay yeay!!
I'm so happaayyyyyhhh!!
I'm TOO happy I don't know what to do now.
Maybe I should start planning how I'm gonna go to MMU to see Fadi.
Weeeeeeeeeee!!!

Hahahaha.
Adoiiihhh.
If only there was someone to drive me there, hahaha.
Anyway, I've got to go hang the clothes now. Haha.
Happyness does not apply to 'no-chores day'.

Fresco

I finally created my own facebook account!
Hahaha, before this people constantly keep asking me if I have facebook.
I'm like "No, why?" and they'd say "It's fun! Sign up la, sign up la".
Now that I've signed up, all the drama has come to an end, and I can rest in peace.

I never really knew what's all the fuss with facebook, it seems to be the new in-thing on the net.
No wonder my friends on myspace & friendster aren't as active as they used to be. They're all busy playin games, poking people, throwing turkeys and sheeps at people, etc in Facebook.
I got kinda confused when I first started, coz there's SO MUCH to do.
But I'm in the process of getting used to, and it's pretty fun.
I had a water fight with Zaimas, vampire fight with Sandra, and threw a few turkeys at my friends, hahaha.
I sound like a kid excited about her new toy, haha.

I never thought of signing up for facebook coz I already have friendster and myspace, and I don't really like handling too many accounts. Besides that, most of the friends I add are the same people in every account. The only difference is the features in the site.
A few people had tried convincing me to create a facebook account, but none were successful ;P
Only one person made me rush to the website, and sign up instantly ;)
Muahhxx! Hahaha.

Enough about facebook.
Coz I'm DOOMED.
Yesterday I just realised that I totally forgot about answering the CTES thing last October. CTES is the evaluation on the lecturers thing, and we were given the whole of October to do it or we won't be able to register next sem. I can't believe I actually forgot about it.
Sigh, now I've to pay RM50 for the summon, or whatever u call it.
As expected, my mom totally flipped when I told her about it. Heeee =(
Thank God I was still allowed to sleep in the house last night, hahaha.
Damn, now I can't go out with my friends coz I'm broke, and it's all because of me and my damn amnesia.

Looks like I'll have all the time in the world to work on the audio blog.
Woopeeee!! I might still go out with my friends though.
They've been waiting to meet up for quite a while.
Haaissshh, I even promised Fadi that I'd go sleepover at her place in MMU.
Damn it!! Hahahaha. All my plans crash & burn.
I guess there're still other ways to turn this tragedy(LOL) into sumthin positive.
I'll just have to figure it out.

Last night I went to send my aunts and uncle to Tabung Haji for their registration and stuff for Haji. We had to stand around there for 3 whole ++ hours.
And we got to meet my uncle's little baby Ammar!!
So cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuteee!!!
Most of the people who were also there to send off their relatives seemed ready to face the 3 hour wait. They'd already brought mats and lots and lots of food.
Lucky them, we had to stand the whole time, and starve. Huhuhuu.
It was sad to see them leave =(
They won't be around for the next 45 days. Not that it makes any difference since I rarely see them everyday. But knowing the fact that they'll be far far away in some other country makes me sad.

My brother was trying to control himself from laughing coz there was this little girl next to us crying like crazy as she sent her dad away. I know he sounds mean, but you should've seen the way she cried.Hahaha. I was close to shredding a tear coz I saw my aunty hugging her sisters with their eyes all watery. I'd cry too if one of my sisters were to go off to another country.

After we got back, everyone washed up and went straight to bed except for me and Farah. Farah went online on my laptop, and I stayed up watching Miami Ink.
After Miami Ink, I decided to call my friend in Colombia. Hahahha.
We've been chatting for quite a while and have become REALLY good friends.
I guess I thought I was rich at the moment , so I called using my handphone.
As soon as my friend answered the phone, I hung up, haha. It was a test call, so I could check my credit balance after that. RM1 for a 5 second call. Crazy. But expected. Huhuhuhu.

My blogs these days are really random, I tend to mash up different stories in one.
I'm bored, I wanna go continue facebook-ing. Hehehehe.

BORA! BORA!

Hooray yeay yeay yeay, exams are over. Can't wait to start concentrating on my audio blogs and stuff. Weeeeeeeeee!! However, I'm still a lil worried about the results, coz I think I did pretty bad :( It's the same old story everytime I come back from the examination building of UM. Somehow I never get bored of repeating it, hahaha.

Anyway, last Friday me & my siblings had to follow my mom to Kluang, Johor. The place where my dad works. It's a veterinary institute. My dad's like the director there or sumthin like that. They were having this BIG open house for all the staffs & students there, and so the director's family (us) were invited as the VIP guests. LOL. I hate being VIP, it's just too weird too much for me. But I could get used to it :)

In Kluang, my family and I stayed at the boys' hostel, where my dad stays. He was actually offered an option between a hostel room n a bungalow. But the hostel room was way better, coz the bungalow was too big for him to stay all on his own. Thank God he didn't take the bungalow, coz we checked it out while we were there, and it seemed really spooky and all. Huhuhuhu. I heard that the institute didn't have a director for quite a while. About 5 years or so, I think.

The hostel was totally fine, almost similar to a 4 star hotel ;) Different from the students' rooms, it has an air-conditioner, a tv, fridge, microwave, it's own toilet (duhh) haha and all daily essentials. It felt awkward to just walk into a guys hostel to spend the night there, hahaha.

The first day we went there, my sisters and I had to carry the bags up to the room , and as we were walking to the room, we could see all the guys walking around in their towels, hahaha. And they were all just staring at us, like a group of dogs spotting a cat in their area. Nahh, I was just exaggerating. Hahaha.

I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a nice view at the time. Hahahahaha. What can I say, guys in towels are fun to watch.Hahaha, now I sound like a perv. It was a fun experience to be the only group of girls in the building, coz I was able to do a lil tudung flipping, ahahha. I'm kidding. Seriously! I'm kidding. Hahahaha.

Okay, back to the open house topic. Saturday morning, we got into our raya outfits. Me & Farah got into the photo shooting mood, and clicked away the whole morning infront of the mirror. Hahahah. Just the mirror. LOL! My parents had already left the room earlier to go help out. So me, Redza & Farah (it was just the three of us) went there later on. Being the damn VIPs, we had to do the grand-entrance walk. That sucked. Haha. All the students, and staffs, and staffs' kids were giving the Simon Cowell judge look.

When I finally reached to the VIP table, I realised I was still alive. And grateful for that. Hahaha. Anyway, they had all the usual stuff, speeches and performances and all the lecturers & makciks there asking me when I'll be getting married and crap.LOL. It was ok I guess.

You know, one thing I kinda hate people telling me is, "Just slim down a lil and you'll look really beautiful". LOL. I know I mentioned before this about wanting to get the fat girl label off me. I think I don't care anymore. I already like the way I look. And I wanna be fat but fit , so save the talk. Woot! Woot!

My Audio Blog

Since not everyone has their own myspace account to add my audio blog profile, I decided to start posting them here on blogspot. I created a new blog specially for my audio blogs. It's just a new thing I started, and collaborated with my cousin. The whole voice thing is new to me, so don't blame me if I sound like crap. Hahaha, please do comment or suggest anything that could be useful for my future blogs =)

Anyway, it's quite a fun thing to do. We even posted the Bloopers from our reordings . Enjoy, and tell me what you think aight. Loves.
