Its a google verb game created by this Canadian Youtuber called Meme. Basically, all you have to do is go to Google, and type your name followed by the list of verbs below :
and search for the first result that comes out for each search you make, to see what kinda loony weird stuff comes up, just for the fun of it, like I did in my video. So, if I tag you, you don't have to make a video, coz that was just a youtube vlog thing, lol. I'm tagging you guys in a bloggy way,so just list down your results for each search aight =)
For example, your post will look a lil like this :
1.)Qilla needs to prove that it's quality is good enough. 2.) Qilla looks hot, but she hates the pic. . . . 12.)Qilla loves crime.
Got it? Haha, I hope so. So, the people I'm tagging are : Farah Ikmal Zetty Fareeza Sandra Fareez Aimee Fara NaQ Nabila Balqish
Enjoy the tag! Sorry I haven't been posting lately. It's been pretty hectic! The only reason I made this short post & the video was for stress relief, LOL! And that's all I'll be doing! So, I'm really hoping to update soon. Or whenever I have the time. Till then =)
Finally after ages of postponing, I finally did Sandra's tag! LOL, sorry for the over-delay =) So, I know Sandra did both the right & left hand version. But I decided to juz use my normal writing hand, which is my right =D
Rules: Write:- 1. Your name/identification name/username etc. 2. Write anything using either your left/right hand. 3. Most favourite alphabet. 4. Least favourite alphabet. 5. "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." 6. Tag 6 or more people/bloggers.
I'm not sure how mabok I was when I was writing it, coz the lining of my numbers totally spazzed out. But yeahh, so, I did it! I also tagged Zetty, my bestee! I guess this'll officially be her first tag, haha. Pretty simple, and I guess suitable for ones who're bored & juz feel like doodling or scribling. LOL.
Apparently, I 'inspired' Zetty to start blogging. Haha, serious! That's what she said! Ahh well, I'm flattered, and also glad she decided to start her own blog. Coz then I'll be able get some insight on her doings and stuff. We may be living closeby, but it's been pretty hard to meet up, or even have a decent chat online. Blogging would be a pretty good solution, fo sho. You go girl! =D
Old picture, haha =D Click on the Jelly Beans jar to check out Zetty's blog!
Anyway, I forgot to mention in my previous post, I was really looking forward to the new Friday The 13th movie. Sadly, Malaysian cinema's only gonna screen it in April. Have you seen all the Friday the 13th movies? I HAVE! They made a remake of it for 2009. Starring Jared Padelecki & Danielle Panabaker. Both I like =)
There was this one time a few years back, I was really excited about the merge of two of the best horror flicks, Friday The 13th & Nightmare on Elm Street which produced Freddy vs. Jason. It was actually the fasting month at the time, so my siblings & I invited a few of our school friends to break fast at our place. And right after we ate and prayed, we all gathered in my room to watch Freddy vs. Jason together with my younger siblings n their friends.
We switched off the lights and played the dvd. I friggin forgot about how UNCENSORED the movie was. We ended up stucked in a really awkward situation, when all the uncensored parts were bare on the screen, with all the primary school kids in the room with us. Hahahaha. I was looking at my cousin (who was only 10 at the time), and he was laughing his butt off.
And my brother came to me and said, "Shit, Qila, I have a feeling we juz gave my friend his first pre-sex ed. I'm seriously dead if his parents find out". LMAO! XD
Today's what? Valentines Day? Err, honestly, it doesn't have the slightest power of affecting my life in any way AT ALL. I was telling Tiqah that I personally think Valentine's absolutely irrelevant. Despite whatever history there is to it, I think someone juz came up with it coz he/she wasn't the easily expressive type, and needed a reason to tell his/her love one how they feel? Or not? I read up on the history, but RIIIGHHT.
Seriously, you can do that every other day. You can tell your loved one (spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, mom, dad, brother, sister, friends, teachers, etc) you love them any day, or buy them chocolates or flowers or presents ANY DAY. I mean, why wait to celebrate 'love' on a particular day, when you can do it every single day of your life. Celebrating love doesn't mean having to spend tonnes of ringgits. There's this squishy thing planted in the top part of your skull, if I'm not mistaken, it's called BRAINS, yeahh. If you have that, it means you have this other thing called MIND of your own. Yup. Once in awhile, when you really work that mind of urs, this other thing called CREATIVITY pops up. And that's where you can do wonders for the people you love. Walla!
Now wait a minute. Don't go jumping to conclusions, thinking I'm some kinda Big Momma Hater. LOL. Coz there is a good side to this so called 'celebration of love' day. Despite all the irrelavance to it, people who know how to work their creativity like, flower shops, candy/chocolate shops, Mr. Hallmark (cards) himself, restaurants, etc can actually earn some pretty good income for it. Good on you people! I still stand by my opinion on it being irrelevant as heck (the whole idea of even having a valentine's day). But since it DOES bring good to certain people, why not. Why not let those people have their raise in earning a living once in awhile. Why not juz shower your loved ones with presents, etc on that particular and STILL do it every other day. Yeah, I don't see any sin to it.
I'm totally optimistic on the topic. But SERIOUS, about what I said about waiting for that ONE day to express urself to your loved ones. If it isn't clear enough, DO NOT WAIT for something like that. Life's too short to postpone it. Really.
Anyway, today Afi, Tiqah & I went out to search for Afi's Annual Grand Dinner outfit. We checked out the shops in Amcorp Mall. The options there were pretty good, and had reasonable pricing. They even had a large range of sizes, that was a definite PLUS. Coz a lot of shops these days, Malaysian mainly, are still unaware of the VARIETY in human forms & sizes that exists nowadays. That's sad.
Since today's Saturday, Amcorp was having their weekly flea market, which is pretty cool. I always get excited about it. Lol. We were checking out the stuff, and this lady who was taking care of one of the tables had a short chat with us. And she thought we were Sabahan!! Haha, Sandra! We're related! Hahaha =P Ohh, and we bought cupcakes from this really humble lady, I can't remember her name. She had valentine cupcakes, but we were more interested in the cartoon ones. LOL. And she was like, "How come all the young girls like the kiddy ones instead of the valentines one I made arr?" Haha, the cupcakes RAWCKK!! =D
Then we hopped on the LRT to Ampang Park to check out the clothes there. Coz Afi's friend said they had nice & cheap kebayas. WRONG! The kebayas there weren't that pretty. They were really expensive & had very limited sizes. We were there for like, less than an hour. Then decided to go to KLCC to catch a movie.
The que at TGV was so long. And there weren't any movies worth the long line up. So we went food hunting. Haha. And came across Vienna Bagles! Woot woot! I wanted Tiqah to try it so we bought some fresh baked bagles. Yowwzaa =)
That was basically ALL we did at KLCC. Hahaha. Coz I'm not such a big fan of the place. Never really liked hanging out there. Checked out ISetan for a bit, then headed back to Amcorp.
And got MORE cupcakes!! Lmao! Bought some for the people back home. We got back, and I slept my butt off. So tiring. This whole week, I've been having a lot of sleeping problems. Not that I can't sleep. I keep FALLING asleep. I fell asleep in practically all my classes this week.
My class was having Electronic Communications on Wednesday, and my lecturer Dr. Mahmoud was explaining about Tuned Amplifiers. I seriously felt like I was paying attention and looking at the visuals he was showing on the big screen. Suddenly in the midst of explaining, he said, "The girl in the black scarf (me, okay!!)". In my heart, I was like, what?? Lol, thank God that was all he said. I must've unconciously dozed off while staring at the screen. Damn you Qila.
I told my mom about the whole dozing off thing. And she said that one of her Doctor friends said that it's a sign that my sugar level is too high. Well, what a suprise =P Gosh, I'm such a good girl. I even bought cupcakes after hearing my mom say that. LOL. Naww, yes I bought the cupcakes. But I'm honestly trying my hardest to lower my sugar level. Cut down on certain things. It has nothing to do with my size though. I'm keeping it this way. Uhh-huh. But perhaps a more fit one =)
Pictures from when Sara & I went for the Underworld & Inkheart marathon!! Okay, so lets make this clear (as if it isn't already OBVIOUS), we didn't snap much, neither did we pose much. These pictures were taken from only two spots located in MidValley. Lol. We've been hanging out together quite often these past few months. Who knew, we'd turn out to be each other's experience seeking motivator. Haha =)
We already bought our movie tickets, and were waiting for a few of my school friends, Fareeza, Bazila & Nadia, who just happened to call me up for a movie on that very same day. So, we decided to watch Inkheart together. While we were waiting, we felt like, it'd be a waste to juz stand around & do nothing. TIME IS GOLD!!! So, what else was there to do, besides play around with our phones, acting like we've got tonnes of messages in it??
Cam-whore!! LOL!
Sara & I, when we're together, we somehow ALWAYS manage to do & try loads of things in just a one day outing. Remember my "Forms, Food & A Friend" video? The one where I mentioned about eating three times trying all new food with a friend. Yeahh, that 'friend' was Sara alright!
JAPANese steamboat, VIENNA bagles & AMERICAN pizza & pannini. That makes it three countries! We practically travelled the world in a day (with our stomaches). Hahaha =D
All the pictures above were taken near GSC, at the big leaning circle infront of McDonald's. Somehow the lighting there was pretty good. There you go! One tip for photoshoot-in location in MidValley : Leaning Circle at GSC =)
So this time, we decided to STILL be adventurous in our food choice, but in a more thrifty way. JUSCO was where we headed. JUSCO's got like, a variety of food! There were potato wedges, hash browns, corndogs (I tried that one, woot!), sushi (okay, I always knew that), nasi lemak, etc. Yeah, A LOT! We kinda borong-ed a few stuff. Some checkered fries (totally made that up), tako tao (wooppee!!), California rolls. That was one heck of a lunch =)
Ohh, check out my shoes & Sara's, lol.
After covering the whole of MidValley, it was time to rest. Sara accompanied me while waited for my mom to fetch me, and before she(Sara) left for the KTM station across the street.
And in the midst of waiting & chit-chatting, again we decided to, cam-whore!!
We got bored of doing the basic schematic smiles. In attempt and in the mood of doing things 'differently' I said, "Jom buat muka!"
"Okay, buat muka gile!"
Gile much? FAIL!
"Okay now, do the pout face"
Pouty enough? Lol, PASS! Luscious as ever, HAHA =P
"Now, muka takut!"
FAIL! Lmao =P
I guess that's it for today. Just wanted to post the pics here. But I've loads of homework to do! I got tagged by Sandra, it's a short one, weee, so I might do it later tonight =)
My class was suppose to have a presentation today for Computer Organization & Architecture. We did have the presentation, but sadly my group didn't get to present =( Coz we only had an hour for all groups to present a max of 10minutes each, and some groups took a lil too LONG, so our lecturer said the remaining groups will have to present for the next task that comes around.
Daanng, I was actually really excited about it. Nervous? Always. But somehow, behind all that nervousness, I'm usually secretly excited (apparently, it ain't a secret no more, lol).
This pic's got nothing to do with the post, but don't they just look alike?! Haha =)
Today, I kinda feel a lil relieved coz all my assignments that were dued after the CNY hols, were finallycompleted and submitted. Phewhh!
Ohh! And I had my lab today, and tell you whaaaat. For the first time EVER in my lab experience in campus, I got a demonstrator who totally rocked my socks! Her name's Prem, I think she's a masters student, and gosh, she's the bubbliest senior I've ever met! I'd like to emphasize, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, a demo whom when she talks, every single word that comes out from her mouth is no doubt understandable. Her explanations were all crystal CLEAR! Ira, Al Ain (my lab partners), and I got all psyched about doing the experiment. The way Prem conveyed her message, somehow gave me that spark of interest I needed towards the course I'm doing.
As I see it, there are 2 groups of people in universities. They are the passionate ones, & the 'bantai' ones. The passionate ones are people who chose their course based on true interest, or long time goal in life, they know that course is 'the one' they want, 'the one' for them, & they love everything about it. Juz like people, who juz know it when he/she meets 'the one' (muahaha). On the other hand, the 'bantai' ones are people who chose their course based on the the saying 'bantai je la'. NOT that they have no sense of direction in life, NOT that they don't know how to manage their future, etc. NO negativity intended here!
Some of the 'bantai' ones could be people who juz haven't reached that point where they know, exactly what they wanna do in life. So, they juz go with the flow.
"Dad says I should be a Doctor. Hmmn, medic's okay I guess."
"I'm already in the physical stream, what should I take then? I'm thinking, engineering. It pays good anyway right?"
Just a few examples of what they're usually thinking. This is based on what I've heard from some of the people I've talked to. So yeah, some people just take time to discover themselves. A guest on one of the Oprah episodes once said, "20's is usually the time for self discovery & learning what you want in life, but so what, there are people in their 40's, and still learning". So ITS NEVER TOO LATE =)
In my case, I'm a 'bantai' person. LOL! I'm the type who's okay with everything, when it comes to experiences. Some things, I may not like, but I'll usually eventually learn to like it. For example, when I go out with my friends, and they ask me where should we eat. I'll always say, "I don't mind, where do u wanna eat?". I try to avoid suggesting places we've been to before, coz I wanna try new ones. Unless, I found out or heard about a new place, THEN I'd suggest it.
Or in other cases, if I meet someone who's really annoying & I'll hate her like hell for the first few meets. The next week, we'll be chit-chatting like we've known each other for years. Haha. Talking about this, suddenly reminded me of when I was in matrics, and my english lecturer asked me, "What do you tell a friend who's sad about something?". Out of the blue, I said "Look on the brightside". Haha, lame answer, but I guess over the years, it kinda grew on me.
So same goes to how I chose the course I'm doing now. I thought Telecommunications sounded interesting & different. I never did any research on it or whatsoever. I wouldn't say it was a bad choice, coz I never regretted it. Its like an arranged marriage gone great! (what the heck?! haha).
Therefore, after the LONG tale, I think the engineering faculty seriously needs more people like Prem!! Btw, she wouldn't stop staring at my leather strap while she was explaining, hahahaha. So, so flattering? Wakaka. Ohh! Ohh! And today,I don't know why, I'm like, all hyped up, happiness is in the air. For no reason. NO reason at all. Again, for the first time in campus, I laughed like crazy with my friends in the lab just now. We were waiting for the lab assistant to sign our experiment results, and so, Ain, Ira and I were chillin' at the sides and we were talking about movies. Ain was so excited about the movie she wanted to watch.
"What movie are you gonna watch today", Ira asked her. With all the confidence in the world & high pitch in her voice, Ain said, "Underwaterworld!" (When she actually meant to say Underworld). Ira & I looked at each other in confusion, saying "Underwaterworld??"
And somehow, I burst out laughing like some crazy woman. Both Ira & Ain also laughed like hell, like no one was around. When in fact, the lab assistant was right beside us with a few other of our coursemates. We were laughing so hard to the point where it sounded like we were screaming. Hahahaha. I'm friggin laughing right now as I'm typing and remembering our whacky act at the lab today. Hahahha. I know it doesn't sound that funny, but it just WAS, at the time. I seriously couldn't stop laughing, I started to laugh out loud, sounding really weird at times, and as usual, I laughed to tears, man. LMAO! The people in the lab must've thought we were on crack or sumthin. Even my other coursemates were laughing, NOT at the joke, but at the way we were cracking up like NUTheads.
Ahh well, despite the nutty-ness, it felt great! =) I haven't laughed that much since highschool. Back then, I used to laugh like that, almost everyday. Haha. And my friends knew me for it. The laughing.
So, I did go for the movie marathon with Sarah last week. We watched Underworld & Inkheart. Both great movies (I would do a review on it, but time is of the essence at the moment). But I prefer Underworld over Inkheart though. Go Lycans!! I know its been out for quite some time, but if you haven't seen it, or have no idea what's it like, check out the trailers :
I really feel like writing more, but I've got stuff to do. So, till then =D
current addictive tune : Thinking of you-Katy Perry.
